In some aspects, this is a dreamy little mountain town that is still humble and has still retained character. But with booming house prices, an increasing amount of second homeowners, and more tourists, what will we do when we run out of land to build upon, and what is the future of our little box canyon?

Spring is definitely in the air, the look on the mountain is lighter layers and people are looking forward to warmer weather and talking about the summer festivals. When Eric Lindell comes to town, it's easy to feel like you've been transported to a hot, humid, intimate bar in New Orleans, where the whole audience is boogying down to sexy, soulful southern blues.

Although Eric Lindell hails from Northern California, his music comes straight from the heart of blues and rock and roll. The sweaty, smiley, dancing crowd at his concert was pure evidence of that, when Lindell and his friends jammed out at the Sheridan Opera House Friday, March 14.

His debut CD only hit stands in 2006, but if this guy gets what his music deserves, he's destined for stardom. In fact, the Eric Lindell Band just played the Conan O'Brien show, which will air March 25. If you missed his Telluride performance this time, we've got video of the show, and we're all crossing our fingers that he comes back for Blues and Brews.

If you missed the chance to see some of the great fashions on the runway at the 2008 Telluride AIDS Benefit Fashion Show, you don't need to worry anymore. Plum went live on the red carpet with host Abby Kingston, checking out local fashions--both on and off the runway.

Abby chats with locals and visitors alike, catching up with people such as Brother Jeff of Brother Jeff's Community Health Initiative, one of the beneficiaries. She also catches up with local business owner and clothing donor Kerin Cumming of Polaris Boutique, and John McGill of StraightOut Media. It was an event not to be missed, and Plum was there catching every minute of it for you.
