Mountain Star, Remembering Charlie Fowler

Mountain Star
Picture: Charlie Fowler is remembered in a children's book written by his sister, Ginny Fowler Hicks.

A new children's book, Mountain Star, remembers local climber and photographer Charlie Fowler, who died on an expedition in China in 2006. His sister, Ginny Fowler Hicks, wrote the book, and Anjaly Sawant painted the illustrations.

Plum host Ben Clark talks to the two women behind the book, and fondly recalls his own experiences with Fowler.

The book, which teaches children how to draw stars, is available at local book stores.
