Although extending Daylight Savings Time did cost us a precious hour of sleep, this year it also added an extra half hour on the lifts.

Last week, Telski announced it is extending lift times. Starting on Sunday, March 9, Lifts 5, 6, 8 and 9 will be open until 4 p.m., half an hour later than before.

Unfortunately for those looking to stay on the mountain past April, the later lift times will not affect the season's closing date.

Telluride Ski and Golf Club Marketing Director Matt Skinner came on PlumTV's MorningNoon&Night Show to talk to Jeb Berrier about the changes taking place with the longer lift times, and what this will mean for Telluride.
