The Festival of the Arts pleased both the palate and the palette, proving there's no better pairing than food with art. For cuisine connoisseurs and art authorities, the Mountain Village transformed over night into a virtual outdoor art gallery and gourmet kitchen. Celebrity chef demonstrations--many of them Colorado chefs--took the center stage in Heritage Plaza alongside slews of tents of nationally juried artworks by some of the most talented artists from across the country. Food and drink seminars, a showcase dinner and Grand Tasting were just a few highlights. Folks visited the visual artist demonstration to the movement of music, took a taste at the sake and sushi workshop, paired wine with wineglasses at the Riedel Glassware Seminar, sipped at the Ketel One Martini workshop, and capped it all off with the Festival of the Arts brunch complete with traditional and exotic fare, and live music. The three day event was an art and food festival that satisfied.
Don't miss the art part. Check out the festival's art workshops that so fittingly paired with wine and food performed and demonstrated right before diners.
