Telluride Ski Area Opens

Opening Day with CEO Dave Riley

Wait no longer, the Telluride Ski Resort bullwheels are turning officially beginning the 2007-08 ski season. The surprise came as many of Telluride's early season lift openings to come—a welcomed surprise.

Village Bypass and Boomerang are open (both super duper double green circle runs) and as manmade snow piles up, more of the Lift 4 terrain opens up. Misty Maiden, a single blue square run, is next on the list. The Magic Carpet for the little ones and the newbies is also open.

So get out there and warm up those legs, and practice, practice, practice because when Mother Nature allows Telski will open it all, and you'll need your ski legs.

Early, early season lift tickets are $40, and early season tickets are $64 through Dec. 14. Regular season tickets jump to $85. You can purchase tickets online on Telski's website, or do it the old fashioned way—walk up to the ticket window and purchase fun.
